Aqua coloured cloth covered boards with silver and red coloured titles to the back strip. Blue coloured tint to the top text block edgeIllustrated dustwrapper with orange and black coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. The author was the Head of High Peak Hotel & Catering School College of Further Education, Buxton, and, gives his simple, comprehensive and knowledgeable expertise on the art of cooking and the culinary arts. Softening of the back strip edges with a little bumping of the book corners. Uniform light tanning of the text block edges, which also shows some cooking stains and some light foxing. Age toning of the pages, though they appear to be clean and bright with no stains. There is an erasure mark to the top right hand corner of the free front end page. The dustwrapper is showing age and use – please see photograph. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges with a couple of tears to the top edge of the front panel, one 2.5'' with associated creasing.
